Measure the largest items first
Start with mowers, bikes, ladders and bulky seasonal equipment. Door width matters just as much as floor area when large items need to move in and out.
Plan wall storage
Shelves and hooks can free up valuable floor space. Leave clear wall areas where storage systems can be mounted later.
Think about the route through the shed
Keep frequently used tools near the entrance. Leave enough open floor space to reach larger items without unloading half the shed.
